This beginners workshop is pretty much a hands-on event. Yes, we do some theory and explain how the different controls work but, mostly we’re into making your photo taking experience more enjoyable.
Ian will make sure you understand the basics as well as busting some myths and decoding photographic jargon. However, much more importantly he will ask you to turn your cameras to everyday situations while helping you take control of your camera and making it do what you want.
There is always time for questions. You see with small groups we have the luxury do that. Your instructor, Ian, is pretty good at making things simple to understand. He has spent over 40 years shooting and filming for a living. Which means there is a good chance he will have solutions to your photography problems.
You’ll find this workshop is friendly relaxed and very informative.
Photographers who need a lift on the day, please note. Anyone who has no access to a vehicle is welcome to ride in our work truck. But please, please, let us know in advance if you wish to do this as there are limited seats in the vehicle.
