Also, know by its indigenous name Gungurra, this native of southern Western Australia is popular as a garden and parklands native across southern Australia where it does well under cultivation.

An informal looking tree grows to around 6 metres tall and three metres across. From mid-July through to the middle of Autumn flowers profusely with masses of lemon-yellow flowers.

E. woodwardii, also occasionally called Woodward’s Blackbutt is idealy suited to our northern Victorian climate. It will need watering and looking after for a couple of years but once established is prety much capable of looking out for itself. Ideal for native gardens in dry areas and requires little attention once established.
